It's been a slow week when the most exciting thing that happened is getting a new kitchen faucet. Truly it has saved the day. Our old one was sooooo leaky that after I was done doing dishes there would be a small swamp on our countertop. (of course I would forget to dry it up and then get the kids breakfast and set the cereal box right in the water!)
This is a picture from our boating trip last weekend. We have loved going to the lake with my parents this summer. Andrew is a little hesitant in this picture, but that is no surprise...if any kid should have learned baby sign language it should have been him. He cries over everything and hardly speaks a word of English.
Jordan is off to Maui on Sunday with all the men (boys?) in my family. The girls are hopefully going to live it up shopping, cooking and scrapbooking.... of course with kids in tote who knows how much we will really get done. But it is going to be awsome, way better than going scuba diving in Hawaii!

shouldn't it be reversed...girls trip to hawaii while the boys stay home with the kids!!but i'm sure you girls will have more fun than the boys just cuz you're girls
So, why are the boys going to Hawaii? I agree with Bre--that does not seem fair. They should stay home with the kids and give the moms a break. :)
