I was at my mom's house the other day and I saw The Choice by Nicholas Sparks sitting there. I knew I shouldn't and I really didn't want to. One glance at it told me that the usual would be involved- love, tears, tragedy. Oh well. My mom was out of town and I was babysitting some guys working on her kitchen. I did find one quote that really struck a chord with my thoughts recently.
"...it always amazes me that once you cut through the clutter, people are pretty much the same...For the most part, people go through the same experiences and think the same things, but somehow no one ever escapes the belief that his experience is unique in every conceivable way."
Nice.
