Spencer by months

4 months- Sept. 1. Spence had some major scraggly baby hair. We decided to give him a trim.

A little precarious- but he didn't cry!

A lovable chunk. He hated traveling at 5 months! He takes great naps, but does not sleep through the night.

At the end of 5 months we started feeding him solid foods. There is this one squeezable spoon that I love. I also love the new baby food pouches. With each baby there is always something new!

6 Months- Nov 1. Rolling and growing up fast!

7 months- December 1.
Nov.10 standing on our laps.
Dec. 2 first tooth
Dec. 12 rocking back and forth on all 4's

January 1- 8 months. Right after the holidays he started to sit on his own and loved to play with his toys. He also had many colds and started to love food- especially eating off our plates.

9 months- February 1.

Spence grew up this past month. He went from barely sitting to scooting everywhere to pulling himself up. Wow. I wish he would sleep through the night! He is still a great napper/nurser. Loves to snuggle and rock to sleep.

He is smug and sweet. Loves, LOVES his brothers. He always will go to them, smile for them, play/laugh/ scoot to them. They are really patient with him. I even catch the tyrant Wes helping him out.

San Diego

The second weekend of November we drove down to San Diego with our good friends and Jordan's business partner's family. We stayed in beautiful hotels and had a very relaxing couple of days. The first hotel we stayed in was trimming their birds of paradise plants. The boys paraded them around all morning.

Spencer at 6 mo.

The Barlow's have 2 cute girls and one handsome baby boy. Jordan was trying to get Wes to kiss her...on the cheek!

Our two boys with Karlie

We spent a morning at the Mormon Battalion Museum.

That afternoon we went to a cool mall to visit a Lego store.

View from our hotel room on the 20th floor.

Day 2 was spent at the San Diego Zoo.

They wanted to see penguins- but polar bears were a close second.

Jensen loved looking at the map.

We ate dinner at a great burger place. It was so good I forgot the name! This trip was the highlight of our fall.

13.1

Let it be written: I trained and ran a half marathon with my fantastic family. I had a 5 month old. It was HARD! I am glad to be done and back to running 5! As Always my little sister Jill did a fantastic write up.

Halloween Overload

So the first two weekends of October we were out of town. The last weeks were filled with every Halloween activity possible! Here we are at a local pumpkin patch with grandma and grandpa. The boys loved it!

Andrew had a pumpkin discovery day at school.

On our way to the Springs Preserve Halloween Extravaganza.

Springs Preserve. It was inexpensive and fun. They went all out with decoration, carnival games, haunted house and trick or treating.

Carving pumpkins with Jordan and Grandpa.

Andrew got to wear his costume to school and have a costume parade and then class party.

Jensen with his good friend Baylor at their costume parade that afternoon. Oh yes, I drove to the school 8 times on Halloween!

Eating breakfast sometime...

Halloween shirts!

Too wiggly for a picture. Mini Frankenstein.

After my parent's trunk or treat. Their favorite part about getting candy is counting and sorting. It kind of makes getting loads of candy okay- right!?!

The finished pumpkins.

Getting ready for the big night!

Jensen in character.

Going trick or treating!
